Systems Training Specialist

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES Candidate will coordinate with the BPR Specialist, Change Management Specialists and/or BPR/Change Mgmt. Specialist. Develop all necessary training materials and instructional formats to implement desired results identified in the conduct of business process re-engineering and change management activities. This includes the ability to identify, recruit, and/or assign needed trainers when necessary for both a classroom environment, as well as on-line to remote locations when necessary. This individual must have the ability to identify instructional goals and planned objectives, as well as design the format for how the conduct of the training would best be accomplished, given FAA organizational goals and constraints.

Education: A BA or BS degree in a field related to information technology, industrial management, engineering, or similar technical field.

Experience: Four years experience, of which a minimum of two years must be specialized. Specialized experience includes: experience in developing and providing technical and end-user training on computer hardware and application software; and prior work in developing and revising training courses. Experienced in training personnel by conducting formal classroom courses, workshops and/or seminars is a must. Must be capable of preparing instructor materials (course outline, background material, and training aids), and student materials (course manuals, workbooks, handouts, completion certificates, and course critique forms) in providing end-user training on computer hardware and application software. General experience includes information systems development, training, or related fields. Demonstrated ability to communicate orally and in writing is required.
